April 24 2007, Joji Obara's trial was held at the Tokyo District Court. He have been accused if he killed Ms Lucie blackman. Defendant Obara had arrested in other similar crime and have decided that he sentenced to life imprisonment. But this time, he did not be accused this crime because of lack of evidence. This crime is known a lot of world, so this dicision makes uncomfortables to many people's heart.

Yukika, great start! An interesting choice of article. It's certainly something that's drawn a lot of attention in the press over the last week. I wonder how it's been represented in Japan and in other countries, and if the representations are different, and if so, why!? Why do you think it's received so much coverage?
